The Stand Design and Exhibition Concept for Hammer

For Hammer, we developed an exhibition stand that was intended to be far more than just a display area. The goal was to generate maximum attention at the trade fair, foster qualified customer contacts, and at the same time present the brande alsog with its products and services in a compelling way.

The concept was therefore developed with the following priorities:

  • Generate maximum attention

  • Create qualified customer contacts

  • Present products and services impressively

  • Create an exclusive brand experience

The design was deliberately inspired by the look and feel of a modern airport lounge - a place characterized by elegance, style and a relaxed atmosphere. Dark materials, natural elements and high quality furniture created an environment that conveyed both sophistication and calm, providing the perfect setting for successful conversations.

The Challenges

For the exhibition stand of Hammer GmbH, the goal was to create a harmonious interplay of aesthetics, functionality, and technological innovation. This involved several demanding challenges:

  • Custom-designed counter with integrated charging function:

The counter was not only the central meeting point but also needed to seamlessly integrate modern technology. The challenge lay in developing a spacious, elegant counter that could discreetly provide charging functionality without compromising on design or stability.

  • Visually sophisticated AI-generated graphics:

The large-format graphics needed to attract attention while clearly and modernly conveying the brand message. Creating and integrating the AI-based visuals required the highest level of precision to ensure a perfect result both technically and aesthetically.

  • Large-scale moss and plant wall with logo:

A true highlight was the living plant wall, which naturally complemented the stand concept. The challenge was to design a large green installation that was visually impressive, effectively showcased the brand logo, and remained practical to implement.

Key Features of the Exhibition Stand

The stand impressed with numerous visual highlights and unique design elements:

  • A custom-designed wooden counter with clean lines and integrated charging functionality captured visitors’ attention.

  • A real olive tree served as a central feature, creating a natural and warm atmosphere.

  • A large-format image graphic, enhanced with an integrated LED screen, provided space for impactful visual communication.

  • A consistent plant concept with walls, partitions, and graphic elements created a harmonious connection between architecture and nature.

  • High-quality furniture, stylish lamps, and the use of dark wood emphasized the stand’s elegant character.

The design was executed consistently throughout, resulting in a welcoming yet premium ambiance.

Technical Integration

In addition to the visual staging, technical components were intelligently integrated. Particularly noteworthy was the screen embedded within the image graphic. It enabled the presentation of digital content and supported communication with visitors, without disrupting the overall harmonious appearance of the stand.

Lighting played a central role in the concept: strategically placed spotlights within the trusses highlighted the image graphics and the logo on the plant wall. This created a vibrant, high-quality impression that attracted attention even from a distance.

Event Metrics & Success Measurement

Event-Metrics was used to measure the success of the exhibition presence. The client's goal was to accurately track visitor frequency at the stand and evaluate performance based on data.

The result was entirely positive:

  • Visitors were clearly counted and assigned.

  • Meaningful key figures were generated, enabling a well-founded evaluation of the exhibition performance.

The use of Event Metrics made success not only tangible but also measurable.

Conclusion and Personal Impressions

From a planner’s perspective, this project was particularly exciting: the combination of modern, elegant stand design, large-scale graphic implementation, and a well-thought-out lighting and plant concept resulted in a highly convincing overall appearance.

The collaboration with the client was also noteworthy: the stand was created through a creative, iterative process in which the client continuously contributed new ideas that were developed and implemented together.

The result was a high-quality, atmospheric exhibition stand that impressed both in design and impact—a place where visitors could feel completely at ease.
