Your Exhibition Stand Builder for Events in Brussels

Brussels Expo is not an ordinary exhibition venue. It consists of twelve exhibition palaces on the Heysel Plateau, with the oldest buildings originally constructed for the 1935 World Expo. Designed by architect Joseph Van Neck, these Art Deco halls feature distinctive concrete arches, particularly in Palais 5. Alongside them stand more modern exhibition halls from the 1950s, 1970s, and 1980s, creating a venue with a total exhibition area of approximately 115,000 square meters.

For exhibitors, this means that the specific hall in which you exhibit makes a significant difference. Ceiling heights, suspension points, and delivery access routes vary considerably between a listed heritage building from 1935 and a hall built in 1989. A stand concept that looks perfect on paper may simply not be feasible in the wrong hall.

There is also the language factor. Brussels is officially bilingual, and your visitors will speak either French or Dutch, with many also speaking English. If your stand graphics are available only in German, you may lose the attention of a significant portion of your audience. This is something that should be addressed during the concept phase, not three days before printing deadlines.

For us, Brussels is not a remote destination. From Monschau, the Heysel Plateau is only about 140 kilometers away, typically a drive of one and a half to two hours, depending on traffic around the ring road. In practical terms, this means on-site project meetings instead of video calls, installation by our own team, and if something is missing on the day of the exhibition, someone can drive it over immediately. For a successful exhibition presence in Belgium, you do not necessarily need a Belgian stand builder. You need one who can be there quickly when it matters.

Successfully Exhibiting at Leading Trade Shows in Brussels

  • Batibouw: Batibouw is Belgium's leading trade fair for construction and home improvement, attracting a highly discerning audience. Building materials and interior products are not simply explained here, they are touched, tested, and experienced. That is why we focus on authentic materials rather than graphic imitations, intuitive visitor flow through the stand, and meeting areas where consultation sessions can comfortably last twenty minutes or more. Our largest project in Brussels was delivered at Batibouw, and you'll find more details below.

  • Brussels Motor Show: The Brussels Motor Show is all about vehicles, and vehicles are heavy. Floor load capacities, vehicle access routes into the halls, and the logistics of getting exhibits into position are key considerations right from the start of the planning process.

  • Agribex: Agribex presents similar challenges, with large agricultural machines and a professional audience that carefully compares technical details. Durable presentation areas and practical meeting spaces are often more important here than elaborate visual staging.

  • Busworld Europe: Buses on an exhibition stand are a category of their own. Stand dimensions, maneuvering space, and visitor sightlines must be planned together to ensure that a single vehicle does not dominate half of the exhibition space.

288 Square Meters for Twelve Brands – MHK at Batibouw

MHK Group is one of the leading purchasing and marketing associations for kitchen, furniture, and sanitary retail businesses. For MHK Belgium's appearance at Batibouw, we built a 288-square-meter island stand, making it the largest project we have delivered in Belgium to date. The real challenge was not the size of the stand, but the choreography of the brands.

On association stands, multiple sub-exhibitors present simultaneously, each with their own brand, products, and objectives. Without careful planning, the result can easily become a fragmented collection of presentations where no individual brand stands out effectively.

Our solution brought all exhibitors together within a unified concept while ensuring that each brand maintained its own identity. The result was a comprehensive product presentation that felt coherent, professional, and highly visible without becoming visually overwhelming.

In addition, we managed the surrounding services, including stand catering and the provision of customer materials for exhibition communications. On a project of this scale, these are not additional services; they are key factors that determine whether an exhibition day runs smoothly or becomes chaotic.

If you exhibit as an association, franchise organization, or together with retail partners, this is exactly the type of project we specialize in: presenting multiple brands within a single exhibition space without any of them getting lost.
